Ive covered quite allot of weddings in Ballintubber abbey over the last few weeks but its a place I never tire of. There are a few but not too many churches around that have such picturesque grounds around it. Perfect for any wedding photographer (when the rain stops). There could be a market there for bridal rain macs... I mean umbrellas don't do much good when the rain is coming at you from all angles do they. Stylish long white rubber/plastic coats with a cute little hood that complements any wedding dress. What bride wouldn't want one..... dragons den here I come. And hey, I want my commission if any of you guys use my idea.
It only rained a tiny bit on Triona & Brian's wedding at Ballintubber Abbey but the sun was beaming down when we arrived back to Cong for their reception in Lisloughrey Lodge and the few photos at Cong abbey.
They were such a wonderful couple and a pleasure to work with.
