Nicola & Mark Johnston, Ice House Hotel, Ballina

I dont know what it is about nearly every wedding ive covered at the Ice House Hotel in Ballina. The couples alway seem to be so... I dont know... Cool, down to earth, stylish and a bit quirky (in a good way). This place does attract a certain type of couple it seems and its such a fab venue for photos.

The stunning Nicola & Mark had a beautiful low key civil ceremony in the hotel with a lovely bunch of close friends and family.

Another beautiful day for a wedding at the Ice House Hotel in Ballina, Mayo. Jennifer and Dave

Its seems like nearly every time I cover a wedding at the Ice House these days the sun is shining despite the previous days not being so pleasant.  Strangely enough though although we did have a pretty wet summer there really weren't too many weddings where it was an inconvenience.

It has to be said that Jennifer is one of my biggest facebook followers and with the last year of interactions it made covering the wedding that bit easier as I felt like I already knew her. They were such an easy couple to work with.

Dave and Jennifer had their civil wedding ceremony in the Ice House (I love how bright it is there). All wedding photography was taken in and around the grounds of the Ice House in Ballina, Mayo
