Lorraine and Chris's Wedding in Galway

Here are a few photos from a wedding I covered in Galway last month.
The church was in Renmore, the bridal party images were taken in Salthill where the rain just about held off and the reception was Cloonacauneen Castle in Claregalway, Galway.

As always, a lovely couple to work with.

Should I book my wedding photographer to cover up to first dance? Well look what you'd be missing out on!

I love when I get asked to cover up to the fist dance at a wedding as I feel this is a time where I can really get creative. I usually stay for about one hour after the first dance. There's no other part of the day where you'd get such colorful lighting.

Its a great way to fill the last few pages of your wedding album too.

Here are a few recent weddings where I stayed for the dancing.

Ultra Pure testimonial

Here is a great testimonial I got from a local company in Mayo I helped out recently.

I had used many photographers in the past but none compared to the quality and service Ciaran was able to offer! He understood what I wanted and exceeded all expectations.

I would highly recommend Ciaran to anyone who is serious about having photos taken for business or family occasions. FIRST CLASS!!!

David & Fiona

Scenes from a recent wedding in Kiltimagh, Co. Mayo. The ceremony was in Bahola church and the reception was in the Park hotel in Kiltimagh.

This couple were so lucky to escape the the volcanic ash cloud. The whole wedding party including themselves had flown over from UK to have a wedding in the west of Ireland. Had the wedding been a few days later, it would have been a very quite wedding.

Witness One Voice, Sligo event

I was asked to capture part of an event which took place in county Sligo called Witness One Voice.

The Witness project is in the process of applying for funding to create a piece of media that explores the experience of asylum.

The event happend over the whole weekend where they spent their time sharing experiences, playing music, drumming, singing, dancing cooking and recording the journey.

Great day for a wedding in your back garden

I was covering a wedding last Saturday here in Mayo. I'm sure they took into account Ireland's unpredictable summer weather when they went ahead with the idea of having their reception in a marquee. It really paid off though.

This is my third wedding where the reception was in a marquee at their own home. Luckily enough the weather was gorgeous for all three.

The marquee was hired from Carnival Marquees, check out their website
