Helen and Hugh's wedding Sligo with reception in Markree Castle
Just a few photos from Helen & Hugh's wedding which took place in Saint Johns church, Carraroe and reception in Markree castle, Sligo.
We werent blessed with the weather that day but it did clear for a few minutes for us to get a quick photo of the bridal party outside. (and a few minutes at the very most).
These guys from Dublin were great to work with on the day and really wanted 'no fuss' around their wedding photography. Luckily enough im not a huge fan of all that fussing around either. Lots of casual snaps and not over doing it with the posing.
I covered quite a few weddings last year in Markree castle and will be back quite a bit this year. It has so much potential for nice photos around its grounds when the sun comes out and the ground is dry.

Aoife & Padraig's wedding in Galway last Friday.
Aoife and Padraig got married last Friday in the NUI Galway chapel. It wasnt the best of days in terms of weather but we made the most of it with the photos. We had planned to take the family photos at the NUI College Quadrangle but we decided to take just a few of the bridal party under the beautiful arches.
You can actually see the rain in this photo all around them. Luckily enough, no one got wet.
Wedding reception was held in Glenlo abbey, Galway.

wedding photo from Saturdays wedding in Salthill, County Galway
Two photos from last Saturdays wedding with Cormac & Laura in Salthill, Galway.
I dont do a whole lot of weddings in Galway but lately I do find that I am being asked to cover more & more weddings in and around Galway. Well I am only less than an hour away from Galway city which is great.
Cormac & Laura were a pleasure to work with on the day. They wanted a no-fuss relaxed approach to their wedding photography so as anyone that I have covered a wedding for will tell you, thats exactly what they got.
